Product Questions
What does it mean that your products are natural?
All of our ingredients are sourced from nature, or as close to nature as possible, and are chosen for their high quality and minimal processing. Our products do not have any parabens, phtalates, fillers, synthetic fragrances, or dyes. And we choose organic whenever possible.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Each product will be different, but will not last as long as products made with synthetic ingredients. Our suggestion is to keep products in a dark, cool place and use within 3–6 months, but some will last up to a year in the right conditions. Check each product's description or label for estimated shelf life.
Are your products safe for kids?
Our mission is to make products that are safe for the whole family, so most of our products are safe for kids. We do formulate some products with special properties just for adults. Each product will list safety details in its description.
Are the essential oils safe for anyone?
If a product contains essential oils, we use a dilution of .25-2% depending on the intended age and use. If a product is formulated for the body with a 2% dilution, we do not advise using it on your face since a 1% dilution or less is safer on that area. Otherwise, these dilutions are generally regarded as safe for daily use. Use a patch test if you're not sure how your skin will react. If you are on any medication, or have any doubts, it's best to ask your doctor before you use a product with essential oils.
Shipping Questions
How long will it take to get my order?
We are currently shipping on Tuesdays, so please allow up to seven (7) days for your order to ship. We use First Class Mail and USPS Priority Mail, which usually takes 1-3 business days to deliver in the U.S. With COVID-19, it is possible to have delays out of our control. If we expect any delays on our end, we will notify you by email.
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or cover shipping for returns. If you are unhappy with your order for any reason, please contact us so we can look at the options to make it right.
What if my order was never delivered to me?
We are not responsible for things that happen once USPS takes your package. If tracking says it has been delivered, but you do not have it, please contact us so we can help track it down or submit a claim.
Other Questions
What precautions are in place for COVID-19?
Regardless of COVID-19, we use Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines in our studio/lab to ensure consistent, high-quality products. This includes using tools and containers exclusively for formulating, making sure everything is clean and disinfected, wearing disposable gloves, etc. As an extra measure, we are disinfecting the outside of each product during the packaging process.
What do I do with the jar spoon when I'm done with it?
If you can use it for a different product or purpose, please do. If it's reached the end of its use, throw it in with your backyard compost. The mini wooden spoons are biodegradable and compostable!
Can I use a different lid or dispenser on your bottle?
Yes! When it comes to our bottles (not jars), the closure size is the same for all. If you have multiple bottles of ours with different closures, or essential oil bottles from other companies, feel free to change them up. Going on vacation and want to use a closed lid while traveling? Want to roll on your face serum instead of pumping it into your palm? Go for it! The closures are interchangeable.
